What is 'Fortifie'?
'Fortifie' is software designed to 'harden' Internet Explorer, to make it safer for users when surfing the internet.
Although there is a version for personal use, it is particularly suited for organisations whose employees access the internet during the course of their work, as it allows the business to define what those employees can do online, and then to enforce the resulting policy, or to enforce existing policies.
It mininises the chances of downloading undesirable software and, therefore, minimises unscheduled downtime.
It is easy to configure and deploy across a network, and features full reporting so that there can be no doubts about which machines are 'Fortified' - a very important consideration when you need to maintain more than a few machines.
